There is nothing in the Ohio nursing law/rules that prevents the use of the educational title “doctor or Dr.” by a nurse. Though the Board of Medicine prevents the use of the title Doctor, others currently do use the title, including PharmD, Psychologists, PT, OT, and others. The Ohio Board of OT/PT have a statement in support of using the title. |
